WHAT IS THIS

Kevin Croft is an Australian technology transfer professional, based in Sydney, and the Managing Director of Croft IP. In his career, Kevin has filled positions in the public & private sphere, and currently holds prominent positions in both. His efforts are dedicated to ensuring that quality intellectual Property is managed and commercialised in a manner that maximises client returns, while expanding market opportunities and penetration.

Croft IP was established in 2005 as a new way of expanding Kevin’s efforts in the management and exploitation of IP. This work continues, but Croft IP’s function has expanded to include advising governments, NGO, Universities and corporations on IP management and strategy.

As part of his efforts to advance the skills and reputation of the profession of technology transfer, Kevin is in demand as a teacher and presenter on IP management. His wide range of international and Australian experience sees him on the podium at universities and conferences around the world.

 He is a Past Vice-President for International Relations of the Board of AUTM, and in 2007 was honoured with an AUTM President’s Award.

Past Trustee of the Licensing Executives Society, Australia & New Zealand.

Consulting to WIPO to develop tools and education to assist countries, particularly in the developing world, to design & implement theor own National Intellectual Property Strategy

Contributing to the report on the DEST-funded National Survey of Research Commercialisation 2003 and 2004;
